My vote for Europe?!

Chemnitz Adult Education Centre catches up with European election preparation course

The course originally planned for the beginning of April to prepare for the European elections will be held on Thursday, 25 April from 6.45 pm. Citizens can prepare for the European Parliament elections on 26 May at the VHS. The influence that voters have on political structures at European level with their vote will be explained in a clear way. It will be explained what forms of citizen participation there are and how exactly the Parliament, European Commission and Council of the EU work together. The venue is course room 4.07 in the TIETZ. Admission is free.

Europe concerns us all. We live in the centre of Europe. Nevertheless, political Europe sometimes seems far away from our everyday lives. Elections to the European Parliament will be held in May 2019. Every citizen has a say in the political future of Europe and the European Union.

This event is a cooperation between the Saxon State Centre for Political Education and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre.
