MUT tut GUT - "Create courage" campaign

On 10 July 2018 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Red Tower

On Tuesday, 10 July, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the "Mut schöpfen" campaign will take place at the Roter Turm. The campaign, which is now taking place for the second time in Chemnitz, aims to change the public perception of domestic violence and violence in relationships. Symbolically, courage is drawn like water from a fountain into containers of all kinds, representing the many people affected.

The actors, most of whom work in victim support facilities, counselling centres or in child and youth protection, offer prevention and work with victims and their families, provide information on how and where victims can get help.

Domestic violence and violence in relationships can be found in various forms in all sections of society. Women, children and men who experience violence need a lot of courage to seek help or get out of such fatal relationships.
