Musikcafè DA CAPO starts the new year on 3 January with Svetlana Katchour
On Thursday, 3 January, the well-known opera and concert singer Svetlana Katchour and pianist Tetyana Funk will be guests at the "DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" music café. Svetlana Katchour has already performed a wide variety of opera roles at many European opera houses and theatres. At the Chemnitz Opera House, she has sung Violetta in La Traviata and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. She is characterised by her extraordinary versatility and variability. Tetyana Funk teaches piano at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School.
Svetlana Katchour will talk to Nancy Gibson, Director of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, about her opera and concert performances. The conversation will only be interrupted to listen to well-known melodies.
The admission price is €5.00 including coffee and cake.
