Music students create "Great art in a small place"

Invitation to the 116th instalment of the event series on Saturday, 12 April in the auditorium of Kirchner Primary School - tickets now available in advance

In the 116th instalment of the "Great Art in a Small Place" series organised in the Chemnitz district of Wittgensdorf, the podium belongs to talented students from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School. The event will take place in the auditorium of the Kirchner primary school on Saturday, 12 April at 7:30 pm.

The concert programme includes compositions by Bach and Chopin, performed on the piano by Annegret Neumann, the first movement of Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto, performed by Jonathan Fröhlich, as well as music on the guitar by Bach and Piazzolla, performed by Sissi Walther and Claudia Roch.

Young musicians from the rock/pop/jazz department invite you on a musical journey: "Fly me to the moon" with nine-year-old percussion talent Jakob Kuhn, while the girls' rock & pop band "Endless Factory" with singer Maxime Trinity Schorler, pianist Pauline Spitzner and Beatrice Lath on drums interprets songs from the current charts. The concert evening is rounded off by the music school's string band - consisting of a complete rhythm section with electric guitar, piano, drums and bass, low and high strings and the two young solo singers Laura-Marie Schilde and Antonia Sterken.
