Music for young ears via livestream from the TIETZ
The Museum of Natural History in Chemnitz invites you to a cosy evening before the exhibition with young music on Friday, 3 July, from 5.30 to 7.30 pm. Music will be broadcast directly from the exhibition via livestream on the museum's YouTube channel(https://www.youtube.com/user/NaturkundeChemnitz).
Musical entertainment will be provided by the Chemnitz band Gruppa Karl-Marx-Stadt with their Balkan pop. The young multilingual Berlin rapper Yetundey will also be performing.
The concert will be hosted by Benno Zimmermann. He is an ecological year volunteer at the Museum of Natural History. During the short breaks for the artists, 8-year-old Clara invites you on a digital tour behind the scenes.
The concert is the highlight of the special exhibition "Young Workshop - My Museum of Dreams", which can be seen until 28 August. The special exhibition shows creative exhibits on the Petrified Forest, which are to become part of the new permanent exhibition and were realised in collaboration with pupils from the Chemnitz school model. In addition to the special exhibition, visitors can gain an impression of current research on the excavation at the "Window into the Earth's History" until the end of October.
The event is subsidised by the European Social Fund.
