Music café in June - with lots of singing, accompanied on the piano

"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to the monthly edition of the event on Thursday, 5 June at 3 pm in the large hall of the Kraftwerk socio-cultural centre in the building at Kaßbergstraße 36. In response to popular demand from regular Musikcafé guests, host Nancy Gibson, Director of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, will this time be welcoming three artists already well known to Chemnitz music lovers: opera and concert singers Kerstin Randall and Tina Pulst and pianist Heinz Meißner.

Kerstin Randall has already appeared in a wide variety of opera and operetta roles on the stages of many European opera houses. In Chemnitz, the artist, who is now a guest of the music theatre ensemble, can currently be seen in the role of Mrs Meeker in the famous musical classic "Funny Girl". Kerstin also teaches classical singing at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School. The opera singer Tina Pulst also works as a teacher at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, where she directs the choir and teaches early musical education.

Guests at the June Music Café can once again expect an exciting and informative chat between host Nancy Gibson and her guests Kerstin Randall and Tina Pulst. Visitors will learn lots of interesting facts about classical singing and classical singing lessons. And, of course, the artists will also delight with their renditions of well-known melodies, performed by both ladies and accompanied by Heinz Meißner on the piano.

The Musikcafé organisers are looking forward to welcoming a large audience to enjoy an entertaining afternoon with coffee and cake. Admission is 5 euros, including coffee and cake.
