Music café in January: Music students introduce themselves
"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the monthly music café on Thursday, 8 January 2015 at 3 pm in the large hall of the Kraftwerk socio-cultural centre at Kaßbergstraße 36. This time, music café host Nancy Gibson will be welcoming music students from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, who will be taking part in the regional "Jugend musiziert" competition from 31 January to 1 February 2015.
The young performers have opted for classical singing and piano: Annabell Hertrampf and Marvin Niklas Müller will be taught classical singing by Tina Pulst, Lina Emilia Werner by Nancy Gibson and Laura Heilmann by Antje Schneider and will be accompanied on the piano by Charlotte Börner (teacher is Jenny Mehlhorn-Taubner), Clara Gutte (teacher is Olivia Gladosch), Jonathan Hofmann (teacher is Thomas Stöß) and Helene Schramm (teacher is Michael Fröhlich).
The eight music students have already successfully mastered solo performances at various concert events organised by the Chemnitz Municipal Music School. At the January Music Café, they will introduce themselves as performers in concert and in conversation with host Nancy Gibson.
Friends of music will once again be able to enjoy a stimulating afternoon with coffee and cake. The entrance fee for the music café is 5 euros including coffee and cake. Guests who are dependent on a wheelchair should use the signposted side entrance.
