Music café in December with orchestra director Susanne Fohr

The programme of the monthly event "DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the popular series on Thursday, 5 December at 3 pm in the large hall of the Kraftwerk socio-cultural centre, Kaßbergstraße 36.
This time, host Nancy Gibson will be welcoming Susanne Fohr, orchestra director of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra.

Susanne Fohr, born in 1969 in Freiburg im Breisgau, was already very interested in music as a child and received in-depth violin and piano training. Professionally, however, she initially decided to train as a bank clerk and then went on to study law at the universities of Heidelberg and Passau, where she also passed her second state examination.

After completing her studies, Susanne Fohr was employed at the Mainz State Theatre from 2001 to 2007 as Personal Assistant to the Commercial Director. Since the beginning of the 2007/2008 season, she has been Orchestra Director of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra Chemnitz.

In an exciting and informative chat between music school director Nancy Gibson and Susanne Fohr, guests at the music café will learn interesting facts about the life and everyday working life of the orchestra director. Once again, you can expect a relaxing afternoon (also) with coffee and cake.

Admission is 5 euros per person (including coffee and cake). Guests at the event who are dependent on a wheelchair should use the signposted side entrance.
