Music café for children: the oboe will be introduced in February

In the February edition of the music café for children aged three to ten, "Fräulein Verkleidung" will introduce the oboe instrument with the help of her moose hand puppet "Casey" and music student Marie Meinhold.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, 9 February from 3:30 pm in the Hartmann Salon of the Kraftwerk socio-cultural centre (Kaßbergstraße 36). Admission to the 45-minute event costs 3 euros per child and 1 euro per adult.

About the event: After the traditional music café opening with a song sung together, this time "Fräulein Verkleidung" will select costumes from her chest on the theme of carnival: Casey and the Fräulein will dress up and chat to the young guests about the February theme while introducing them to the oboe, presented by music student Marie Meinhold.

As usual, tea and biscuits will be served in the music café.

The Sunday afternoon event series is organised by Nancy Gibson, Director of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, and Ute Kiehn, Director of the host venue Kraftwerk.
