Music café for children premieres at Kraftwerk: "Fräulein Verkleidung" introduces the French horn
The premiere of the new series of events "Fräulein Verkleidung - Musikcafé für Kinder" for children aged three to ten is being held on Sunday, 6 October 2013 at 3:30 pm at Haus Kaßbergstraße 36. The new event, offered once a month on Sunday afternoons, was prepared jointly by Nancy Gibson, Head of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School and Ute Kiehn, Head of the Kraftwerk Socio-Cultural Centre (PM 495 from 02.08.2013).
For the first edition of the music café for children: Fräulein Verkleidung will introduce the French horn instrument with the help of her moose "Casey" - a hand puppet - and a music student - Jakob Hähnlein. The music café will open with a song sung together. Then Miss Disguise finds costumes in her chest on the theme of autumn and hunting, and Moose Casey and Miss Disguise dress up and chat with the little music café guests about autumn and the French horn instrument. Of course, the children can also take a close look at the instrument and ask the music student questions about it. The event ends with a final song.
Tea and biscuits are served at the music café. The event lasts approx. 45 minutes.
Admission: Children pay 3 euros each, adults 1 euro each.
