On Tuesday 17 September at 5 pm, anyone interested is invited to a mushroom walk in Wasserwerkspark. Participants will learn about mushrooms during a mushroom hunt. Together with the mushroom expert and chairman of the Pilzfreunde Chemnitz e. V. association, Peter Welt, the mushrooms found will be identified and their use (e.g. as edible mushrooms, for colouring, etc.) explained. Their dangers are also explained, including those of inedible mushrooms. Due to the prolonged drought, there are currently only a few mushrooms to be found.

The hike is also suitable for families with children. Participation is free of charge.
The meeting point is at the entrance to the Wasserwerkspark, bridge on the Zwönitz, Annaberger Straße.
