Picture: Museum für Naturkunde Chemnitz

On Tuesday, 3 March, the Museum of Natural History invites you to a public guided tour of the exhibitions at 3 pm. This tour is particularly suitable for children up to the age of seven. Scientific volunteer Anne Förster will provide insights into the formation of the Petrified Forest, the background to the naming of unique Chemnitz fossil finds and the visions of the future permanent exhibition created by Atelier Prof. Jochen Voigt. Stations in the exhibition are viewed and discussed from the perspective of children who are not yet able to read. The visitors' suggestions will be used to develop the educational programmes in the museum.

Admission is 5 euros. Children and young people up to the age of 18 are admitted free of charge. Students of Chemnitz University of Technology also have free admission on presentation of their student ID. The guided tour lasts approx. 90 minutes.
