On Monday, 25 March at 11 a.m., representatives of the media are invited to a press conference at the Kaßberg Prison Learning and Memorial Site, Kaßbergstraße 16c. The programme for the Chemnitz Museum Night, which takes place this year on 4 May, will be presented.

Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky, Dr Thorid Zierold, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture, Anna Luise Schinzel, Project Manager of the Chemnitz Museum Night, Juliane Kirste, Press Officer of Chemnitzer Verkehrs-AG (CVAG), and Falk Ester, Press Officer of Verkehrsverbund Mittelsachsen (VMS), will provide information on the podium.
Representatives of the participating museums and institutions will also be available afterwards as contact persons.

The motto of this year's Museum Night is "Let's celebrate!" - 25 years of Chemnitz Museum Night. 32 museums and institutions as well as twelve galleries will present a colourful and diverse range of events for the anniversary edition with numerous highlights from the past 25 years. In addition to the well-known locations in Chemnitz, museums in Braunsdorf, Frankenberg, Hainichen, Hohenstein-Ernstthal and Limbach-Oberfrohna are also taking part for the first time. The focus will be on interesting facts about Saxony's industrial history, which is characterised by the textile industry and automobile production.

Advance ticket sales start on Monday, 25 March. As in previous years, the ticket allows admission to all participating facilities and is also a ticket for public transport.
