"Our Chemnitz - safe and secure!" Security conference on 10 September, 4 pm
On Thursday, 10 September, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the security conference of the Municipal Prevention Council of the City of Chemnitz will take place in cooperation with the Chemnitz Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Kammersaal, Straße der Nationen 25, with invited guests.
Representatives from the housing industry and trade, members and interested parties of the "Safe Saxon Cities" action alliance will come into contact with representatives of the Chemnitz police department, Chemnitz city administration and the Chemnitz public prosecutor's office. The conference focuses on dealing with and reporting criminal offences.
Many citizens expect the police to deal with grievances immediately and prosecute offences quickly. The judiciary, on the other hand, should ensure that offenders are prosecuted as quickly as possible. However, the police and judiciary can only act if criminal offences are reported. The aim is therefore to work together to find ways to improve security in Chemnitz.
