Municipal music school promotes the 5th German Music Festival

Photo opportunity on 12 April at 11 a.m., Gerichtsstraße 1 - Banners on 30 buildings invite you to the 5th German Music Festival

The Municipal Music School is the first building to receive one of 30 banners to draw attention to the 5th German Music Festival. It will be put up on Friday, 12 April at 11 a.m. in Gerichtsstraße 1. Media representatives, especially photographers, are cordially invited to this event.

The other banners will be displayed at venues and partner institutions over the next week. These include Chemnitz City Hall, the Chemnitz Theatre, Chemnitz Opera House, Chemnitz Technical University, Küchwaldbühne, Chemnitz Exhibition Centre, the Media House in Carolastrasse and the Tram Museum. In addition, schools such as the Karl-Schmidt-Rottluff Gymnasium, the Annenschule and the Berufschulzentrum für Wirtschaft I as well as the Berufsschulzentrum für Technik II invite you to the German Music Festival with their 3 metre by 1.5 metre advertising spaces. They are concert venues or overnight accommodation.

The 5th German Music Festival will take place in Chemnitz from 9 to 12 May 2013. More than 15,000 musicians and an estimated 150,000 visitors from all over Germany and its neighbouring countries are expected to attend Germany's largest music festival. The organiser of the German Music Festival, the Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Musikverbände e.V., promises more than 300 concerts, 200 musical competitions as well as lectures and symposia throughout the city centre.
