Municipal music school invites you to a song recital at Karl-Schmidt-Rottluff-Gymnasium
The Chemnitz Municipal Music School would like to draw your attention to a special concert experience in the auditorium of the Karl-Schmidt-Rottluff-Gymnasium on the Kaßberg: On Saturday, 16 November at 6 p.m., you are invited to a song recital with the celebrated soprano Christiane Hossfeld, accompanied on the piano by Prof. Michael Schütze.
The concert programme of the long-standing soloist of the Dresden Semperoper is entitled "Four Last Songs" and includes works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Richard Strauss as well as texts set to music by Richard Dehmel and Hermann Hesse.
The concert is organised by the Chemnitz Municipal Music School together with the soloist of the song recital and the host Karl-Schmidt-Rottluff-Gymnasium. Admission is free - but donations are welcome and will again benefit the work of the vocal department of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School.
