With the arrival of autumn, the municipal fountains are gradually taken out of service. On Thursday, 9 October, the six drinking fountains will first be taken off the network and shut down for the winter months. These will be put back into operation next year on Water Day on 22 March.
The 19 fountains in the city area will be gradually switched off, cleaned and prepared for winter rest by 30 October.
The scheduled decommissioning and winter maintenance will ensure that the facilities are available again next spring in perfect condition.
