Moritzhof is a contact point for Ukrainian refugees
Immediate help with applications for social benefits
A contact point for Ukrainian refugees has been set up by the social welfare office on the ground floor of Moritzhof, Bahnhofstraße 53. From now on, they will receive help with applications for the social benefits to which they are entitled. Interpreters are available. Food vouchers are also available for those in particular need.
The drop-in centre is open as follows: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8.30 am to 12 noon and Mondays and Tuesdays from 1 pm to 3 pm.

To date, 2004 Ukrainians have registered with the City of Chemnitz Residents' Registration Office, including more than 1000 women and 839 children and young people.
Only 950 refugees have registered with the social welfare office so far.
