More than 2500 fans at the second "Rock am Kopp"
German-British band "I Heart Sharks" and Werdauer's "Still Trees" delight the Chemnitz audience
Visitors had two reasons to dance at the second "Rock am Kopp" concert: after the warm-up with the Werdau band "Still Trees", who will also be playing at the Kosmonaut Festival next week, the German-British electro-pop band "I Heart Sharks" got the audience going. More than 2500 visitors were not deterred by the cool weather and partied for over two hours in front of the Nischl.
"It's awesome what's going on here," enthused the lead singer of "Still Trees". The frontman of "I Heart Sharks" added: "A concert like this is exactly what cities need to make them attractive to young people." And both: "Chemnitz, it was just great fun."
The second of the "Rock am Kopp" concerts was made possible by the main sponsor Volksbank Chemnitz, kindly supported by Radio Chemnitz and the electricity came from Eins. The event was once again organised by Club atomino. "We support the format because we hope that many people will come together at such a concert in the city and rediscover the attitude to life in Chemnitz," says Volksbank board member Gunnar Bertram, explaining the reasons for the commitment.
To make a note of: The next "Rock am Kopp" is scheduled to take place in July.
