To mark International Women's Day on 8 March, the City of Chemnitz's Equal Opportunities Officer, Franziska Herold, is launching the #stattBlumen campaign - with the aim of promoting equality in the workplace and giving companies the opportunity to receive direct feedback from their female employees on working conditions and career opportunities.
The Equal Opportunities Officer has ballot boxes ready for companies, into which female employees can then anonymously post their wishes, ideas and suggestions. The evaluation is carried out by the companies themselves. The #stattBlumen campaign offers companies the opportunity to reflect on existing structures, working conditions and gender equality practices, to take up new ideas for even better promotion of female employees and to independently implement concrete steps towards gender equality - voluntarily, but with great potential for positive change.
The ballot boxes can be collected from the office of the Equal Opportunities Officer of the City of Chemnitz, Room 011, City Hall, Markt 1.
In addition, the Equal Opportunities Officer offers companies free advice on how to translate feedback from the campaign into concrete measures. These include gender-appropriate job advertisements, transparent career paths and strategies to promote women in management positions.
