Mobile classrooms for the Am Flughafen secondary school

Invitation to the photo session: 4 March, 10 a.m.

The delivery of the mobile classrooms for the secondary school at the airport, 277 Usti nad Labem Street, will begin on Monday, 4 March, at 10 a.m. The elements will be delivered and assembled by large transporters between Monday, 4 March, and 8 March 2019. Once the building structure is complete, the interior work will follow. The classrooms should then be ready for use at the start of the 2019/20 school year.

Representatives of the media are cordially invited to a photo session on Monday, 4 March at 10 a.m. on the grounds of the secondary school at the airport, 277 Usti nad Labem Street.

The facility is a fully equipped teaching container system for year-round use as a two-storey modular system modelled on the reference project at the Altendorf secondary school. The room programme comprises a total of eleven classrooms, a preparation room, a group room, a staff room and corresponding ancillary rooms, such as a cloakroom area, toilets and sanitary facilities.

With the 2018 school network planning, various measures to increase capacity were decided due to the rising number of pupils. This also affects the secondary school sector. In order to meet this demand in the short term by creating additional classrooms, mobile classrooms are being built at the "Am Flughafen" secondary school.
