Microprojects: Co-organisers wanted
Next round of applications for creative projects under the title "City Culture Europe" is underway
On the way to becoming European Capital of Culture 2025, Chemnitz residents are once again called upon to participate in the process with cultural micro-projects.
Ferenc Csák, project manager of the European Capital of Culture application, explains: "Micro-projects are the lifeblood of the European Capital of Culture application. They bring the idea of the European Capital of Culture to life in the city's neighbourhoods."
Whether associations, initiatives or individual players, whether a sketch of an idea or a concrete project: the submissions should contribute to the cultural diversity of the city of Chemnitz and promote social interaction.
In a first selection round, 11 micro-projects have already been selected for funding, and a second application round is currently underway. The application deadline is 31 March 2018.
The informal application with project description and budget can be sent by email to the following address Chemnitz2025(at)stadt-chemnitz.de
A jury nominated by the programme council of the Capital of Culture application will make the selection. Micro-projects can be supported with a sum of up to 2,500 euros. Self-financing is not required.
