Museum für Naturkunde: three-day wood workshop for children and young people - registration until 29 October
On Wednesdays, 3 November, 10 November and 24 November, the Museum für Naturkunde Chemnitz invites children and young people to a workshop with wood as a natural material. Six to ten-year-olds are invited to get creative from 2 to 3.30 pm and then eleven to 16-year-olds from 4 to 5.30 pm.
Participation is free of charge. Anyone interested should register by 29 October, either by telephone on 0371 488-4555 or by email to: ehle(at)naturkunde-chemnitz.de.
The workshop is aimed at children and young people who enjoy experimenting with wood or would like to try it out. In the Museum of Natural History's wood workshop "Making friends - eliciting the structure of wood together!", participants can first put their own ideas on paper and then realise them creatively. They also get to know other children and young people of the same age who have the same interest.
Toymaker Therese Lakatos accompanies the workshop from brainstorming to the finished wooden product.
This measure is co-financed with taxpayers' money on the basis of the Catching up after Corona action programme for children and young people.
