Mayor welcomes Neuchemnitz residents for naturalisation
Invitation for representatives of the media to the naturalisation ceremony on 28 May, 16:30, City Council Chamber and Wandelhalle in the Town Hall
Mayor Barbara Ludwig has invited the citizens of Neuchemnitz to the naturalisation ceremony of the City of Chemnitz on Thursday, 28 May at 4:30 pm in Chemnitz City Hall. Dr Ruth Röcher, Chairwoman of the Jewish Community of Chemnitz, Etelka Kobuß, Foreigners' Representative of the City of Chemnitz, and Pedro Martin Montero Pérez, Chairman of the Foreigners' Advisory Council of the City of Chemnitz, will be among those taking part in the festive event, for which a coffee table will be laid in the Wandelhalle.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend.
After a musical opening programme by the string ensemble of the Mozartkinder der Sächsischen Mozartgesellschaft e.V., the new citizens will be warmly welcomed with a speech by Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig. Afterwards, two people from Neuchemnitz will talk about their experiences in their new home in Chemnitz. From 5.30 p.m., guests are invited to a tour of the town hall, including the City Council Chamber, Green Salon, Council Chamber and High Tower.
