Mayor Sven Schulze will receive a delegation of firefighters from New York City and Orange City on Monday, 7 October at 10 am. Representatives of the media are cordially invited to this event.
The American colleagues are visiting the fire brigades in the Ore Mountains. For this reason, an extensive daily programme was put together on Monday. In the morning, they will visit Fire Station 1 of the Chemnitz professional fire brigade. At lunchtime, a tour of the Mildenau plant will take them to the Buchholz volunteer fire brigade and the Dorothea mine in the Cunersdorf district of Annaberg-Buchholz. At the end of the day, a tour of the Cunersdorf local fire brigade's equipment centre is planned.
