Masterclass with Kolja Lessing
Opening and closing concert at the music school
The opening concert of the masterclass by and with Kolja Lessing will take place on Friday, 18 January at 7.30 pm in the concert hall of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, Gerichtsstraße 1. Kolja Lessing, violin, piano and moderator will lead through the evening together with Andreas Winkler (violin). Admission is 12 euros in advance, reduced 10 euros, at the box office 14 euros, reduced 12 euros. Tickets are available at www.mozart-sachsen.de.
Once again, a masterclass will take place at the Chemnitz Music School, setting exciting accents with young up-and-coming talents. The course, led by renowned violinist and pianist Kolja Lessing, will not only focus on these two instruments, but also on string chamber music. For many participants, this masterclass also serves as preparation for the "Jugend musiziert" music competition, which begins in February. Visitors can look forward to a masterly opening concert in the concert hall of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School.
On Sunday, 20 January at 4 pm, the final concert of the masterclass with Kolja Lessing will take place in the concert hall of the Municipal Music School. Course participants will present the results of their work. Visitors can look forward to freshly created and jointly rehearsed interpretations by the young talents. Admission is 3 euros.
