Market for the sale of grave decorations
The City of Chemnitz is organising a market for the sale of grave decorations on the Reichenhainer Straße footpath from 23 October to 21 November 2021. It is possible to buy grave decorations, flowers, wreaths, cemetery arrangements and brushwood every day from 9 am to 5 pm.

Fair around the town hall
On Monday, 1 November 2021, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the City of Chemnitz will hold the last funfair of the year around Chemnitz City Hall. As usual, the traders will have an extensive range of goods on offer. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer to cater for your physical well-being. The first fair in the new year will be held on 7 February 2022,
9 am to 4 pm, will be held. The closing date for applications is the last working day in December 2021.

End of the weekly market at the town hall
On Saturday, 6 November 2021, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the last weekly market for this year will take place at Chemnitz Town Hall.

Arrival of the Christmas tree
On 6 November 2021, in the late afternoon, the Christmas tree will be delivered to the Chemnitz market square. The waiting time can be shortened with a barbecue and mulled wine until it arrives.

Relocation of the weekly market to the area at the Red Tower
Due to construction work for the Chemnitz Christmas Market, the weekly market will be relocated to a smaller space at the Roter Turm from 9 November to 23 December 2021 (except 17 November 2021).
The opening hours are from Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm, and additionally on Saturday, 13 November and 20 November, from 9 am to 1 pm, Thursday, 30 December, from 9 am to 3 pm and Friday, 31 December, from 9 am to 12 pm.
