Fair around the town hall
The City of Chemnitz will be holding its funfair around Chemnitz Town Hall on Monday, 4 November from 9 am to 4 pm. As usual, the traders will be offering a wide range of goods. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer to cater for your physical well-being.
From Tuesday, 5 November
The weekly market will be relocated to the area by the Red Tower
Due to construction work for the Chemnitz Christmas Market, the weekly market will be relocated to a smaller space at the Roter Turm from 5 November to 21 December 2024.
The opening hours are from Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm, and additionally on Saturdays, 9, 16 and 23 November 2024, from 9 am to 1 pm and on Tuesday, 31 December from 9 am to 12 noon.

Market for the sale of grave decorations 2024
Location: Footpath on both sides of Reichenhainer Straße, near the cemetery and allotment garden association "Schreberhain" e. V.
From 8 to 24 November, the City of Chemnitz is organising a market for the sale of grave decorations on the footpath on both sides of Reichenhainer Straße, near the cemetery and KGV "Schreberhain" e. V.. It is possible to buy grave decorations, flowers, wreaths, cemetery arrangements and brushwood every day from 9 am to 4 pm.

Arrival of the Christmas tree 2024
This year's Christmas tree will be delivered to Chemnitz Market Square in the late afternoon of 9 November 2024. The waiting time can be shortened with a barbecue and mulled wine until the tree arrives.

Location: Markt, Neumarkt, Rosenhof and Innere Klosterstraße from Markt to Jakobkirche
The Chemnitz Christmas Market will take place this year from 29 November to 23 December. It opens on Friday, 29 November, 4 pm to 9 pm. Mondays to Thursdays, from 11 am to 8 pm, Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 am to 9 pm and Sundays, from 10 am to 8 pm.
