Location: Chemnitz market
You can choose from a wide range of bedding and balcony plants, seeds, orchids, trees and shrubs, kitchen herbs, vegetable plants, perennials, wickerwork and garden accessories to bring spring to your garden or balcony. Sweet and savoury food and drinks invite market visitors to linger.

Fair around the town hall - market
Location: Markt, Neumarkt, Rosenhof, Innere Klosterstraße from Markt to Jakobikirchplatz
The City of Chemnitz organises the fair around Chemnitz City Hall. As usual, the traders will have an extensive range of goods on offer. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer to cater for your physical well-being.

Weekly market on the market square
Location: Chemnitz market
The regular weekly market is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
Please note:
From Tuesday to Thursday, 26 to 28 May, the weekly market will be relocated to the Am Wall, Roter Turm area due to the Hat Festival. On 29 and 30 May 2026, the weekly market will be cancelled due to the Hat Festival.
