Fair around the town hall
The City of Chemnitz will be holding its funfair around Chemnitz Town Hall on Monday, 6 March from 9 am to 4 pm. As usual, the traders will be offering a wide range of goods. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer to cater for your physical well-being.
Thursday, 30 March, to Saturday, 8 April
Spring market 2023
From 30 March to 8 April (except 2 April and 7 April), the City of Chemnitz will be holding a spring market at Neumarkt am Rathaus as an extension of the weekly market.
The opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday, 1 April and 8 April from 9 am to 3 pm.
Colourful market decorations with Easter crowns and flower arrangements will get Chemnitz residents and their guests in the mood for spring and Easter. The stalls will be selling Easter-themed products such as flower and Easter decorations as well as plants and gifts.
The youngest market visitors can take a spin on the children's carousel. Street musicians and various children's activities provide all kinds of entertainment. Snacks and drinks round off the market visit.
Changed opening hours for the weekly market at the town hall
From Tuesday 28 March, traders will once again be welcoming their customers from Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm.
