Fair around the town hall
On Monday, 5 March 2018, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the City of Chemnitz will be holding the funfair around Chemnitz City Hall (except Neumarkt). As usual, the traders will be offering a wide range of goods. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer to cater for your physical well-being.
From 6 March
Changed opening hours for the weekly market at the town hall
From 6 March 2018, traders will once again welcome their customers from Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm.

To mark the spring market, the weekly market has additional opening hours:
Saturday, 24 March, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, 26 March, from 9 am to 5 pm
22 to 31 March
Spring market 2018
From 22 to 31 March (except 25 and 30 March), the City of Chemnitz will be holding a spring market on the Neumarkt by the town hall. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday, 24 and 31 March, from 9 am to 3 pm.
Colourful market decorations with Easter crowns and flower arrangements will get the people of Chemnitz and their guests in the mood for spring and Easter. There will be 18 stalls selling Easter-themed products such as flower and Easter decorations, plants and gifts. The youngest market visitors can take a spin on the children's carousel. Street musicians provide all kinds of entertainment on 31 March. Snacks and drinks round off the market visit.
