On Monday, 3 April 2023, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the City of Chemnitz will be holding the funfair around Chemnitz City Hall. As usual, the traders will have an extensive range of goods on offer. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer to cater for your physical well-being.

Spring market 2023
From 30 March to 8 April 2023 (except 2 April and 7 April 2023), the City of Chemnitz will be holding a spring market on Neumarkt am Rathaus as an extension of the weekly market.
Opening hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, 1 April and 8 April, 9 am to 3 pm.
Colourful market decorations with Easter crowns and flower arrangements will get the people of Chemnitz and their guests in the mood for spring and Easter. The stalls will be selling Easter-themed products such as flowers and Easter decorations as well as plants and gifts. The youngest market visitors can take a spin on the children's carousel. Finally, street musicians and various children's activities will provide all kinds of entertainment on 8 April 2023. Snacks and drinks round off the market visit.
