Marketplace will be sanded
On Monday 14 October 2013, the building yard of the City of Chemnitz Civil Engineering Department will be resanding the market and areas surrounding the market - Klosterstraße, Bretgasse and the street Am Rathaus. This work may result in slight soiling and obstructions.
The re-sanding of the paved areas with stone sand will take place between 08:00 and 14:00.
Regular cleaning of the paved areas will remove loose joint material (paving sand) from the paving joints. This must therefore be replenished at regular intervals once or twice a year or in some areas as required.
