Plant and flower market on 1 May 2017
On Monday, 1 May 2017, the city of Chemnitz will open the balcony and garden season with the traditional plant and flower market at Chemnitz City Hall. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors can choose from a wide range of products such as bedding and balcony plants, seeds, orchids, trees and shrubs, kitchenherbs, vegetable plants, perennials, wickerwork and garden accessories and bring spring into their gardens or balconies. Sweet and savoury food and drinks invite market visitors to linger.
Fair around the town hall on 8 May 2017, 9 am to 5 pm
On Monday, 8 May 2017, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the City of Chemnitz will be holding the funfair around Chemnitz Town Hall. As usual, the traders will have an extensive range of goods on offer. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer to cater for your physical well-being.
Flea market at Chemnitz Town Hall on 21 May 2017, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Sunday, 21 May 2017, from 9 am to 3 pm, the first flea market will take place on the market at Chemnitz Town Hall. A wide range of old and second-hand goods will be on offer. There will be a wide range of food and drink on offer to refresh junk dealers and visitors.
Pre-registration for junk dealers is not necessary. If you want to take part, simply turn up at the town hall on Sunday morning at 7 am. The market master will collect the stall fee on site. A square metre costs 2.60 euros plus VAT.
