Funfair around the town hall
On Monday, 1 August 2016, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the City of Chemnitz will be holding the funfair around Chemnitz City Hall. As usual, the traders will be offering a wide range of goods. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer to cater for visitors' physical well-being. Please note that the Neumarkt area will not be available on this day due to the Chemnitz Wine Village.
Flea market at Chemnitz town hall
On Sunday, 21 August 2016, the flea market will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the market at Chemnitz Town Hall. A wide range of old and second-hand goods will once again be on offer. There will be a wide range of food and drink on offer to refresh junk dealers and visitors.
Pre-registration for junk dealers is not necessary. Anyone wishing to take part should arrive at the town hall on Sunday morning at 7 am. The market master will collect the stall fee on site. The square metre costs 2.60 euros plus VAT.
Relocation of the weekly market at the town hall
Due to the Chemnitz City Festival from 26 to 28 August 2016, the weekly market at the town hall will take place in the adjacent Rosenhof from 23 to 26 August 2016. It will be open Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
