Markersdorf North pedestrian zone opens tomorrow
After a five-month construction period, construction work on the redesign of the first construction phase in the Markersdorf/ Nord pedestrian zone (between Wilhelm-Firl-Straße and Faleska-Meinig-Straße) was completed at the end of September.
The green design for this project submitted by the planning office iproplan, Chemnitz, was realised on time and professionally by the company Tiefbau Böhm, Chemnitz, following a restricted invitation to tender. The total construction costs amount to around 173,000 euros
The ceremonial opening by the Mayor of Construction, Petra Wesseler, will take place tomorrow, Friday 11 October at 15:00.
