Marco Polo - inclusive theatre

Exhibition opening at the adult education centre - on 24 August, 3 pm

On Saturday, 24 August at 3 pm, the adult education centre will open an exhibition at the TIETZ about the inclusive theatre project on the history of Marco Polo, which was performed at Chemnitz Opera House in February 2019.

At the exhibition opening, some of the actors will bring the theatre play to life once again on the stage on the ground floor and present parts of it.

Admission is free.

The exhibition (on the 4th floor) presents masks, costumes and props and documents the fourteen months of preparation and subsequent performance of the play through pictures, drawings, scripts and photos.

Various groups of people with and without disabilities were involved in the project under the core idea of inclusion. It was realised by the Förderkreis CAMO e.V. Ehrenberg, under the artistic direction of Pier Giorgio Furlan.

This event is a co-operation between the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre and the Förderkreis CAMO e.V. Ehrenberg.

The exhibition will be on display until 31 October 2019.
