Marble palace collapsed: Limbacher Straße must be fully closed
The roof of the Marble Palace collapsed and the hall collapsed this afternoon at around 4 pm. As the façade is threatening to collapse onto Limbacher Straße, a full road closure had to be ordered this evening for safety reasons. The city will immediately initiate measures at the property.
The diversion will be signposted. It will lead into the city via Waldenburger Straße, Kochstraße, Weststraße and Horst-Menzel-Straße. Out of town, the diversion will be via Horst-Menzel-Straße, Weststraße, Schiersandstraße, Bodelschwinghstraße and Waldenburger Straße.
