Managing Director of CTM resigns at the end of the month
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze will promptly make proposals to the committees on how to proceed
The Managing Director of Chemnitz Tourismus & Marketing GmbH (CTM), Lars Herrmann, is stepping down from his position after a few months for personal reasons.
Lars Herrmann has informed Lord Mayor Sven Schulze that he wishes to end his activities at the end of the month. At the same time, he has asked him to relieve him of his duties. Herrmann took up his post on 1 July.
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze: "I have to respect Mr Herrmann's decision, even if I personally regret it very much and was surprised by it. I would like to thank him very much for his work and commitment. As I have identified further personnel problems at CTM, I will promptly make a proposal to the responsible committees on how to proceed."
Lars Herrmann: "The decision to step down after only a very short time for personal reasons was not an easy one for me. Nevertheless, it is necessary for me. I ask everyone to respect this decision."
