Ludwigstraße is being renovated
Coordinated construction project between Küchwaldstraße and Hechlerstraße
Construction work will begin on Ludwigstraße on Thursday, 23 June. In the area between Küchwaldstraße and Hechlerstraße, the road, including the pavements, will be renewed in two sections, each with a full road closure. The existing combined sewer will also be partially replaced. In addition, the power lines will be renewed and empty conduits for fibre optic cables will be laid.
The work is expected to last until the end of May 2023 and will be divided into the following two sections Between Küchwaldstraße and Kesselgarten, construction will run from 23 June to probably 21 December 2022. The section from Kesselgarten to Hechlerstraße will follow from 27 February 2023 until 27 May 2023.
The diversion during the full closures will be via Kesselgarten, Küchwaldstraße and Hechlerstraße.
The work will cost a total of around 703,000 euros and is being carried out by the company EBG Bau GmbH Ehrenfriedersdorf.
