Love without borders - intercultural partnerships in Chemnitz

Exhibition opening on 8 June, 6.30 pm at TIETZ, 4th floor

Next Friday, 8 June at 6.30 pm, an exhibition dedicated to the topic of "Love without borders - intercultural partnerships in Chemnitz" will open at the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre.

Students from the "Intercultural Communication" degree programme at Chemnitz University of Technology have developed a project about intercultural couples for the 875th anniversary of Chemnitz.

The lived diversity of the city of Chemnitz, which is expressed in the special love biographies of some of its citizens, is vividly illustrated with posters and photos.

As part of the project, a narrative photo book was created together with couples. It depicts the everyday lives of the couples and is linked to a short story about each couple using pictures and interviews.

In addition to the photos, there are also posters on display that cover various topics of a relationship and thus show the similarities and differences between the couples from different perspectives.

There will be an opportunity to talk to the students at the opening. The exhibition will be on display at the TIETZ until 6 July 2018.
