Lost property office auctions bicycles online
Until 27 February, found bicycles from the Chemnitz lost property office can be purchased directly online and at low cost. Interested parties can find the bicycles at www.zoll-auktion.de under the heading Sport & Leisure, subheading Bicycles & Accessories.
Among the many different items that have been handed in to the lost property office of the City of Chemnitz in the past year, there are also a large number of bicycles in good working order, such as mountain bikes, trekking bikes or e-bikes. No owner has come forward for these bicycles within the six-month retention period, so these bicycles are now looking for new owners.
If items are found in the city area of Chemnitz to which no owner can be assigned, these lost property items will be stored for six months in the lost property office of the City of Chemnitz, Bürgerhaus am Wall, Düsseldorfer Platz 1, in 09111 Chemnitz.
During this period, the rightful owners of lost property can have it returned to them. If the lost property is not collected within this retention period, it will then be auctioned off.
