Lost property is auctioned off
Chemnitz lost property office's online auction will run for a few more days
Until 27 November, the lost property office of the City of Chemnitz is offering a large number of lost property items for sale via online customs auction whose owners have not claimed any losses and whose statutory retention periods have now expired. The site can be accessed via www.zoll-auktion.de/auktion/anbieter/Stadt_Chemnitz/1464.
Once again, a wide range of different items for all occasions will be auctioned off. In addition to a Bluetooth box, a Stihl leaf blower, various types of skis and DIY tools such as a cordless impact drill, saws and angle grinders as well as a Jura fully automatic coffee machine are among the items on offer. In addition, there are around 25 different types of bicycles for road/forest and gravel terrain.
The items to be auctioned can only be viewed via the Internet address of Zoll-Auktion, the auction house of the federal, state and local governments. It is not possible to inspect the products in person in advance. The items are described in detail and any defects are explicitly pointed out. Buyers should bear in mind that the items are second-hand.
Only those who have previously registered on the Zoll-Auktion website can bid for the individual items. Once you have successfully registered, you can take part in the auction.
The auctions end on 27 November 2022 between 5 pm and 6 pm. As always with lost property auctions, the following applies: Items are auctioned as seen (in photos), no guarantee is given. Exchanges are also not possible. Items purchased at auction can only be collected by appointment. The municipal lost property office will contact the highest bidder after the end of the auction. The amount will then be paid on site in cash or by EC card.
