Lord Mayor Sven Schulze on the death of former city councillor Hubert Gintschel
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze:
"It was with great dismay that I learnt of the death of Hubert Gintschel. He was a committed local politician with a clear stance who never shied away from disagreement. Nevertheless, he was able to find common ground in the interests of the cause and was willing to compromise. My condolences go out to those who were close to him. The city of Chemnitz will always honour his memory."
