Lord Mayor Sven Schulze on the death of Dr Thomas Jendges
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze:
"It was with great dismay that I have just learned of the tragic death of Dr Thomas Jendges, the Managing Director of our hospital.
We had a long chat about the difficult coronavirus situation yesterday evening. I am deeply saddened and my thoughts and deepest sympathy are with his family and friends at this time.
We will now speak to all those responsible at the hospital so that they are not left alone in what is already a difficult situation. I will announce all further details in due course."
