At the end of June and the end of August 2022, Lord Mayor Sven Schulze will once again be inviting representatives of various associations to the Luxor Congress and Event Centre, Hartmannstraße 9 to 11, for an open exchange about their work and the activities of the various associations in the city.
The dates are orientated towards the content of the clubs and take place from 5 to 7 pm: On 28 June, sports clubs are invited, on 29 June cultural, musical and artistic clubs. Social and societal associations will follow on 30 August and allotment garden associations on 31 August.
Registration is possible via the attached QR codes (categorised by event) and by telephone on 0371 488 1502. When registering via the QR codes and by e-mail to buergerbuero(at)stadt-chemnitz.de, the representatives of the associations can name topics they would like to talk about.
A very open discussion format (fishbowl) is intended to facilitate direct dialogue. Participants can enter into dialogue with city representatives, ask questions and make suggestions. Afterwards, the Lord Mayor and city representatives will be available for discussions in small groups.
At the first association talks in 2021, the representatives provided insights into the work of the associations, which has been heavily influenced by coronavirus, and explained the challenge of finding new members. As a result, many problems were actively addressed.
