Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig receives Hungarian Ambassador
Invitation to the photo session: 5 October, 3 p.m., town hall
On Thursday, 5 October at 3 p.m., Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig will receive the Ambassador of Hungary, Dr Péter Györkös, at Chemnitz City Hall.
Representatives of the media are invited to a photo opportunity in the Green Salon - the Mayor will present the Ambassador with a gift from the City of Chemnitz.
After a short tour of the town hall, there will be a personal discussion between the host and guest.
A discussion with contemporary witnesses will follow at around 4 p.m. in the Green Salon to mark the 50th anniversary of the first arrival of Hungarian contract workers in Chemnitz.
Members of the Hungarian Cultural Association Chemnitz und Umgebung e. V. will talk about the experiences they and their relatives have had here over the past 50 years.
