"Long John Silver" - Music schools give a concert in the Stadthalle
Musical partnership between Chemnitz and Chomutov - Invitation to the concert on Thursday, 20 June, 7 pm
Under the title "Long John Silver", the Chemnitz Municipal Music School and the partner music school in Chomutov, Czech Republic, invite you to a special concert in the small hall of Chemnitz City Hall on Thursday, 20 June 2013 at 7 pm. Nancy Gibson, Director of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, is delighted: "Our partnership with the art and music school in Chomutov is growing and flourishing! We are delighted to invite Chemnitz music lovers to this special concert for children and adults in June - a musical treasure hunt with pupils from the Chomutov and Chemnitz music schools!"
In this concert, pupils from Chomutov and Chemnitz will form a large orchestra and perform pieces by Mozart, Debussy and excerpts from "Pirates of the Caribbean". There will also be dancing: dance students from Chomutov will present a new choreography specially created for this concert by Svetlana Dundrova.
Tickets for the concert can already be purchased from the Stadthalle ticket service at a price of 10 euros or 8 euros (reduced for children).
