"Local Hero for Europe": Business supports Chemnitz 2025
Event on 11 January 2024, 6 p.m., at the Carlowitz Congress Centre
On Thursday, 11 January 2024, from 6 p.m., stakeholders, projects, companies and associations planning activities or events for the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, as well as entrepreneurs from Chemnitz and the region who would like to support these projects, are invited to the "Local Hero for Europe" event at the Carlowitz Congress Centre, Theaterstraße 3. The aim is to get to know each other, network and encourage the business community to get involved in the Capital of Culture year 2025.
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze and Andrea Pier, Commercial Director of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 GmbH, will host the evening and provide exclusive insights into the current status of planning for the Capital of Culture year 2025.
Various projects from the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 programme will be presented. In addition, concrete participation opportunities for the business community will be presented on how these projects can be supported.

"Local Hero for Europe" aims to connect projects and stakeholders with companies and to broker suitable partnerships in a targeted manner. The event is a platform for the exchange of needs and support opportunities.
Among other things, concrete opportunities for companies to get involved and participate are offered, commonalities between different (entrepreneurial and creative) perspectives are made visible, existing actions are shown as examples and suitable partnerships are facilitated.
"Local Hero for Europe" is a joint project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 GmbH, the City of Chemnitz's Business Division, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the CWE, the Saxony Industrial Association and C3 Chemnitzer Veranstaltungszentren GmbH.
