Local elections 2014: Ten parties and voter associations represented on Chemnitz City Council
City electoral officer Berthold Brehm announced the provisional election results of the city council elections on Sunday evening at 11.14 pm: According to the results, a total of ten parties and voter associations will be represented in the new Chemnitz city council. Voter turnout was 44.15 per cent, lower than five years ago (46.85 per cent). A total of 201,765 eligible voters were called upon to decide on the composition of the city council with its 60 members.
